Where Do You Take-Off?
We put an incredible emphasis on building a clear, strong foundation for client relationships and financial planning. This is the general pattern at the beginning of your journey.
We have virtual, in-person and over-the-phone options for your convenience. Meetings can be combined into one or two sessions as needed, to fit your schedule.
First, we'll study your past financial terrain and current outlook.
We’ll ask you about your perspectives and get on the same page.
- How do you feel about your job and benefits?
- What financial decisions from your past are you proud of?
These factors and others have led you to where you are today, and they’ll shape where you’re going.
Here's where we'll learn about your dream destination.
What are your goals?
- What are your goals for the short, medium and long term?
- Do you want to come up with a down payment for a home?
- Is there a charity you want to support?
- Do you want to save for posterity?
We want to know what puts the vibrancy and purpose in your life.
Then we'll chart out options to reach your destination.
Now that we know the terrain, we’ll lay out the different possible routes.
We’ll factor in and plan routes for unforeseen obstacles too. You’re at a fork in the road, but we’ll help you see what lies ahead in each direction so you can make informed and supported choices.
This is when we discuss the connections you'll need.
We’ve agreed on the best direction for you, so now let’s talk about how to implement it and get you on your way. You might require:
- A trusted attorney,
- or another expert
Allow us to coordinate those connections for you too.
Here's where we’ll map out your investments and our role as your GPS.
Our purpose in this meeting is to agree on how Pacific United Planning can take command and start trading in, improving, and diversifying your portfolio.
- Ongoing support
- Online tools
- Tactical & strategic asset allocation
- and more
This is when we’ll review how much you’re spending on gas.
OK, more than just gas. (We can’t help it with the “journey” analogies!)
We’ll ask you about your expenses from the past couple of months. We’re not here to judge. We simply want you to be aware of how your spending aligns with your goals and provide you with some accountability.
How Does the Journey Continue?
During your first year with us, we want to get to know you. But first things first. If you have something urgent you’d like our advice on, be it a new job offer, figuring out your benefits, that extra cash you’re sitting on, or anything else, we’ll tackle that roadblock first. Let us help. We listen, and we offer clarity and foresight. However many meetings it takes. We’re here.
